I recently read this book 'Aram' by Jayamohan in which, 'Yaanai doctor' turned out to be one of my favorite stories. In this book, the author talks about the lives of a few inspiring personalities who chose to live a different life than the rest of the world and he uses storytelling as his tool to convey the emotions.
My key takeaway from 'Yaanai doctor' is that the pair of glasses you choose to wear, to see the world, can influence your perspectives and emotions. The glasses could be either 'knowledge' or 'ignorance'.
A forest officer sees a bunch of worms, and that sight keeps haunting him. He is unable to eat and sleep. Finally, the truth about worms from a veterinarian offers him a pair of glasses (of knowledge) and he starts feeling comfortable around worms.
Most of the times, the bad guy in our story (from our narrative) might not be as bad as we think, if we wear a different pair of glasses :)
